We have some amazing news to share! Joy Monroe, SPARC Founder and CEO, was honored at the Georgia State Capitol for the incredible work she does to help single-parent families.
Joy cares deeply about families where one parent is doing everything alone. That’s why she created SPARC to give single moms and dads the help they need to take care of their children and build a better future. SPARC has programs like Motel to Home that ends family homelessness, Financial Achievement Club that helps establish families establish emergency savings accounts and other programs like SPARC Kid’s Academy and Book Buddies that improve student literacy and academic performance.
Every year, the need grows and SPARC steps in to help an increasing number of families. Because of Joy and her team, single parents feel supported, and kids feel loved and safe. SPARC shows families that even when times are tough, they don’t have to face it alone.
At the Capitol, Joy was thanked and celebrated for all the amazing things she has done. It was a special moment that showed how one person’s kindness and hard work can make a big difference.
We are so proud of Joy Monroe and everyone else at SPARC. Their dedication to service continues to show single parent families how much they matter, and that single does not mean alone.
