Last month at our SPARC Financial Achievement Club, these three stories showed powerful examples of what happens when single parents get both practical tools and a circle of support.

Each mom came to SPARC in crisis, some living in extended stay hotels, others navigating sudden single parenting and job loss. Through the Financial Achievement Club they learned how to budget with confidence, build savings, repair credit, and increase income, all while being surrounded by other women who understood the journey and encouraged them to keep going.

The program lasts six months and combines monthly group workshops with one on one coaching, where participants are encouraged to save every month and can earn up to 700 dollars in incentives, including matched savings up to 500 dollars, plus additional rewards for increasing credit scores and income.

As you watch their videos, you will see how this support helped them move from motel rooms to stable homes, from fear to planning for first time homeownership, college, and better futures for their children and grandchildren.

SPARC invites each family housed through its Motel to Home work to join the Financial Achievement Club so they can stay housed and protected from the next emergency, instead of returning to homelessness. It costs about 2,500 dollars to move one family from homelessness to housed, and your generosity helps make stories like these possible for more single parents in our community.

By supporting SPARC, you are helping single parents build stability, dignity, and long term financial strength for their families.
